Tour of New Zealand



1. One point five Million people live in south west auckland it is the most popular city.
2. Auckland has more boats then anywhere else in the world.
3. Auckland's biggest landmark is Ragitoto island which can be seen from all over the city.
4. Auckland has Modern malls spacious urban parks and plenty of culture.
5. The most characteristic building on Auckland waterfront is the Edwardian-style ferry terminal.

    Kia ora Evangeline,

    You've posted some interesting facts about Auckland that I did not know before! For example, I had no idea that the ferry terminal was 'Edwardian' in its style. I just did a little bit of reading about the 'Edwardian' style and I learned that it is a style of building that was popular in England in the early 1900s (when King Edward was on the throne).

    Thanks for posting such interesting facts, Evangeline. You inspired me to do some extra research and to learn more about the buildings here in Auckland. That is very cool.
