Summer learning journey: Day 2

Activity 1

A wharepuni is similar to my house because it has a roof that keeps the rain from coming inside and also because it has windows so that we can see outside.

My house is different to a wharepuni because we dont have moari carvings outside and because my house has stairs that lead to an upstairs area.

Another brilliant post and activity complete!
That is fantastic! Wouldn’t it be cool to have beautiful carvings on your house like that?! Both a house and a Wharepuni have a roof to keep the rain out, I agree.
When I was overseas the house I grew up in didn’t have very good windows so when the tropical rain hit, our house would leak a little bit. It caused a lot of problems for us.

Maybe you could compare the colour and size of your house. You’ve mentioned an upstairs area so that’s a great start!

    Keep up the great work!

I look forward to reading more of you blogs!

    Cadence :)
