Summer learning journey: Bonus points

Bonus points

Back in the 1800s, most Māori ate a simple diet. They ate foods that they could catch in the water or grow on the land. They did not have access to a supermarket to buy food for their meals!

My favourite food is pizza because I love the melted cheese and here is the recipe for the cheesey garlic pizza,
  1. Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced. Lightly grease a large baking tray. Using a 12cm-round cutter, cut 4 rounds from pizza base. ...
  2. Combine garlic and oil in a bowl. Spoon mixture over each base. Spread with a spoon to cover. ...
  3. Bake for 8 minutes or until cheese has melted and bases are crisp. Sprinkle with thyme.

  1. Hey there Evangeline, thank you for sharing your favourite food with us. It's great to see that you like pizza. I am a big fan too!

Do you ever like putting other toppings on? Such as meat or vegies, or do you just like it with cheese and garlic?

Have you ever tried a dessert pizza? With chocolate, custard, crumble, banana and berries. Yum!

    Thanks, Billy
