Yesterday, all the Year 3s and Year 4s got on a bus to go to the Stardome.First we had to get into groups . Next we had to line up with our group in the breeze and then the parents got walkie talkies so we wouldn’t get lost. we got called to go outside.Then We were called out last because there was more of our class then all the other classes. Then we got in the bus in the bus we were singing songs and playing hand games. When we got there I was so excited then we walked into a room where vanessa was. she taught us a lot of things.

At the Stardome, we learned some really cool things about our solar system. she taught us a lot of things one thing was that it takes 3 days to get from Earth to the Moon. Next she talked about how the moon gets its light. Then she asked us questions about all the planets. She told us that Mercury was the closest to the Sun and venus is the 2nd closest to the Sun but venus is hotter than Mercury.  That’s because Venus has an extra layer of skin and when the sun is really hot it still has a extra layer and that's why Venus hotter than Mercury.

When we weren’t in the Stardome, we were having fun outside. The first thing everyone went on was the zip line and the line was really long because it was so fun. Next Mia and I went on a train and Jerry was pushing us so fast i nearly fell out. Then I went on this round thing and you spin around it was so cool. Finally I went on this very big big slide it was really cool I loved it.

After all this, we headed back to Point England School. When we all finished playing on the park we got called down to the grass and then we went in the bus. In the bus we were singing songs Mostly little instians. Then we played hand games and it was so fun i didn’t want to leave. When we were in the bus we passed My old, old, old house and Mia’s mum’s house.
