One day Mum, dad, my brother, sisters and I were playing outside because it was a perfect day. It was so sunny but there was a nice breeze as well. My mum, dad and my brother were playing basketball. My sister and I went on our trampoline and my baby sisters were on their bikes.

Then one of my baby sisters got off and started to run around. All of us had no idea there was a dead bee on the ground. When she was running for a while she got tired and stopped running. She was almost going to step on it but she stopped because she saw the bee. Then she just ran again forgetting the bee was there.

As soon as she took one step she landed on it and all of a sudden she stopped and cried so hard we all could hear her. We all rushed over and asked what happened. She pointed to her foot and we all checked. We saw the stinger in her foot. We tried to pull it out but she wouldn't let us. In the end, we had to give her a bath cause she was dirty from playing outside.

When she had a bath the stinger came out and I saw it. I took it out straight away from the bath. Then she felt a bit better. We just gave her some ice cream to make her feel much better because she loves ice cream. Then we all sat down and watched TV. After that we all went to sleep because we were all so tired.

It was such a fun and a bit scary day. I thought it was a bit scary because of my baby sisters bee sting. But overall I thought the day was so nice and fun.

Recount Scared or surprised

On Tuesday, My parents, siblings and I, went Swimming because we wanted to make up for the holidays. I was getting a bit scared but at the same time I was getting excited.

I was so scared because I realized that my aunt took me and my cousins there once. I remembered that I slipped and hit my head on the firm ground, it hurt so badly. We had to go home and I had to rest on the couch. It was so bad but everyone else had a great time.

But even with all I went through at that time It didn’t stop me from being excited to go swimming and although I was scared I was happy to go with my family. When we got there I was getting less scared because I knew I just had to be careful.

The first thing we did was we had to get our wristbands so we could go into the pools then after that we went straight in. I was so excited but scared at the same time.

The first thing my mum said was to put our bags in the cupboard. Me and my sisters did that as quick as we could. Then we had to go rinse off. I took a while because the showers were cold. After that we could finally go into the pool. The pool was a little cold but I got used to it.

The first thing I did when I got into the pool was swim around for a bit then I got out and went on the slide I loved the slide it was so fun to go down I went on several times then I went in the spa pool because I was getting a bit cold.

I kept switching between the slide, spa and the pool. Overall I was mostly on the slide because that was the most fun. I had a great time at swimming. but the fun wasn’t over. after we went swimming we went to Sam Woo's, Sam Woo's is a restaurant we always used to go there.

My mum ordered way to much food, She order 50 dollars worth of food but it was fine because we could take some food home. All the food there was so delicious and I ate lots but there was still so much left so we took it home. I had so much fun it was the best day ever.

Matariki Recount

On friday morning it was matariki day. We first started the day of with our assembly. Then when the assembly was finished we came back to class and found out which group we were in. A few days before matariki we got to choose what group we wanted to be in and we had for choices. My first choice was Cooking next sport after that it was Movie making then it was arts and crafts. I got picked to be in Movie Making and it was kinda disappointing because I really wanted to be in cooking but Movie Making sounded kinda fun.

We Were Making Movies in the green screen room and when I got there a lot of people were already there but we were still waiting for the rest of the people to come so we were waiting for a while. Then when everyone were there we got to read the script that we were going to act out and the name of the movie was stars in their eyes.

The first thing we needed to do was we had to find out who everyone wanted to be and I wanted to be god of the wind so I got to be god of the wind after that we went to get our costumes and they were the senior kapa haka clothes. The first scene didn’t include the costumes but on the next scene we needed the costumes. I was the person that created the seven stars. The stars were made because the god of the wind was angry because two people couldn’t be in love.

We got to film the whole day except for when it was morning tea and lunchtime. We couldn’t finish in time so we did not show it in assembly. When we were at assembly we were gonna play a game while we were waiting or everyone else to come but they all came before we could start the game but it was okay. We got to see all different kinds of creations and movies but sadly we couldn’t. Show our movie. It was so fun we almost finished our movie but we haven't yet so we might finish it soon and when we do it's gonna be on the PENN. I can’t wait to see what our Movie is going to look like.

On Thursday 12th of April we had fiafia I was in the Samoan group with most of my friends. We were the last group to perform but the person that was teaching our groups name is timmi and she said that they were saving the best for last so I was fine .We had a lot of practice and it was very fun but when it came up to the real fiafia I was a bit nervous but I was still excited to dance when we were waiting for our turn to dance it was starting to rain and we were all soaking so when we all got on the stage we were soaking wet and we were shivering but we got through the dance. When we just went of the stage I heard everyone screaming. Then we went back to our changing room and we had to wait for our parents to pick us up. When my mum came we went in the breeze to wait for my dad he took a while but it was fine so as soon as he got there we went back home I loved this years fiafia.
