Banking Issues

WALT: Find rules for the next number in patterns.
Task description: Mr Goodwin has asked us to complete this task. It was made by another teacher of ours. She has made it into a presentation to make it funner for the students to work on. To be able to complete this task we had to answer all the questions correctly. This task was very fun as it was different to everything else we have done the past 3 terms.

Pattern solving

Today we did a task where we figured out how to make and solve patterns. I had a lot of fun doing this as it was a very fun way to learn different types of math.

Time Table Practice

Walt: Get better at your times table each week

Task Description: This is my times table practice for this week. Mr Goodwin makes us do this 3 times a week. I am currently on emerald which is the 2nd hardest times table to do.

Figure it out task: To market To market.

WALT: use our basic facts knowledge to try out new strategies.

Task Description: Mr Goodwin has asked us to complete this figure it out task. In able to complete tis task we had to find out the right answer to each question and i have found it out. I have enjoyed doing this task as my favorite subject is MATH!!!

Times table practice

Walt: Get better at your times table each week

Task Description: This is my times table practice for this week. Mr Goodwin makes us do this 3 times a week. I am currently on emerald which is the 2nd hardest times table to do.

Degrees in a circle

WALT: use compass points and directions.

Description: The task Mr Goodwin gave us included us figuring out where all the degrees would go if we pointed in that same direction. Once we figured out where all of the degrees would be if we pointed it that direction.

Compass

WALT: use compass points and directions.

Description: The task Mr Goodwin gave us included us figuring out where north, east, south, west north east, north west, south west and south east would be. Once we figured out where they all were we put it in the same place as if we had a compass.

Decimal Problems

Task Description:Today Mr Goodwin has asked room 7 to finish this task. It is about decimals and solving some decimal problems. It included using addition and a of course my brain. It was quite a fun task and was a bit challenging for me.

Bronze and silver

Walt: recognize shapes and sides.  
Task description:Mr Goodwin asked us to complete 2 math tasks. One was easier then the other and we had to do the easiest one first then we had to do the harder one.

Gardening

WALT: convert units of measurement.

Task Description: Mr Goodwin wanted room 7 to complete this task by learning how much grams make kilogram and how to add it up in a completely different way we have been tough! I found this task quite amusing as it was a bit hard but quite fun to do.
