Christmas Tree

Our task was to sculpt something but it had to be something to do with Christmas. I hope you enjoy what I have done. I got to work with Sivaenah and Jane. They were very fun to work with.

DMIC

This is my DMIC for today I hope you enjoy it. We had to figure out what the net of a rectangular prism is. I had to work with Kolopa and Sione. It was so fun I would do this again. But it was a little bit hard.

Hi my name is Eva and this is my animation about cave drawings, Long ago, there was an ancient tribe from the country now known as Africa. The tribe lived off the land and had to hunt and gather for their food. In this land, the impressive lion was the ultimate prize because it provided food for the whole tribe. Only the most mighty and cunning warriors could hunt such an animal. This is the story of one such tribe, on an epic hunt to catch one of these mighty animals. The lion was looking for food but got confronted by the mighty hunters. The first person struck but died in the process, then the next person struck but died as well so they came up with the idea of having a group but that didn’t work so they got into a bigger group of 6 and that worked perfectly so they were happy and they went back to there hideout space and cooked it. It turned into meat then they got some big stones and used it as plates then ate it they were all so happy The End

Reflection

This is my writing I hope you enjoy what I have done it took a long time to do but there is  2 videos and  reflection on the video. It was really hard but I got it done. I had to copy and paste the videos because all of my partners are in the videos and we had to show the video of me and my partners for the video so I hope you enjoy.

Wired

This is my reading task from last week I didn't really get to get it done earlier. I hope you enjoy it I worked so hard on it and to be honest it was a little bit hard but it was fun to do.

DMIC

This is my DMIC work for this week I hope you enjoy how hard I worked on it. I work with Pisirina, Siakupanga, Siosiua and I it was s fun working with them. I hope I can work with them again. We got the answer and it was 1643 we got it by using times and pluses.

Vanishing line

This is my reading task for today. I hope you enjoy. I worked very hard on it. We had to take a picture and then we had to put lines where we thought the vanishing line was. A vanishing line is were the photo fades away.

this is my DMIC, I worked with Madi and Lorenzo we had so much fun but the first time we worked it out we found out the we did it wrong. I think I should work on explaining what I drew but also work on sharing the pencil. I hope you enjoy it I worked very hard on it.

Recount

One day Mum, dad, my brother, sisters and I were playing outside because it was a perfect day. It was so sunny but there was a nice breeze as well. My mum, dad and my brother were playing basketball. My sister and I went on our trampoline and my baby sisters were on their bikes.

Then one of my baby sisters got off and started to run around. All of us had no idea there was a dead bee on the ground. When she was running for a while she got tired and stopped running. She was almost going to step on it but she stopped because she saw the bee. Then she just ran again forgetting the bee was there.

As soon as she took one step she landed on it and all of a sudden she stopped and cried so hard we all could hear her. We all rushed over and asked what happened. She pointed to her foot and we all checked. We saw the stinger in her foot. We tried to pull it out but she wouldn't let us. In the end, we had to give her a bath cause she was dirty from playing outside.

When she had a bath the stinger came out and I saw it. I took it out straight away from the bath. Then she felt a bit better. We just gave her some ice cream to make her feel much better because she loves ice cream. Then we all sat down and watched TV. After that we all went to sleep because we were all so tired.

It was such a fun and a bit scary day. I thought it was a bit scary because of my baby sisters bee sting. But overall I thought the day was so nice and fun.

DMIC W1 T4 P1

this is my DMIC it was so fun to do I was working with Mele, Kolopa and Sione they were so fun to work with. I think I should work on explain what i'm witting instead of just writing on the book.

Recount Scared or surprised

On Tuesday, My parents, siblings and I, went Swimming because we wanted to make up for the holidays. I was getting a bit scared but at the same time I was getting excited.

I was so scared because I realized that my aunt took me and my cousins there once. I remembered that I slipped and hit my head on the firm ground, it hurt so badly. We had to go home and I had to rest on the couch. It was so bad but everyone else had a great time.

But even with all I went through at that time It didn’t stop me from being excited to go swimming and although I was scared I was happy to go with my family. When we got there I was getting less scared because I knew I just had to be careful.

The first thing we did was we had to get our wristbands so we could go into the pools then after that we went straight in. I was so excited but scared at the same time.

The first thing my mum said was to put our bags in the cupboard. Me and my sisters did that as quick as we could. Then we had to go rinse off. I took a while because the showers were cold. After that we could finally go into the pool. The pool was a little cold but I got used to it.

The first thing I did when I got into the pool was swim around for a bit then I got out and went on the slide I loved the slide it was so fun to go down I went on several times then I went in the spa pool because I was getting a bit cold.

I kept switching between the slide, spa and the pool. Overall I was mostly on the slide because that was the most fun. I had a great time at swimming. but the fun wasn’t over. after we went swimming we went to Sam Woo's, Sam Woo's is a restaurant we always used to go there.

My mum ordered way to much food, She order 50 dollars worth of food but it was fine because we could take some food home. All the food there was so delicious and I ate lots but there was still so much left so we took it home. I had so much fun it was the best day ever.

This is my assignment for today it was very fun to do I worked by myself and It was really easy.

Cave Drawing

this is my animation plan we had to make and animation based on cave drawings it was so fun to do we had to pick a country and a animal from that country i chose Africa as my country and a lion as my animal I think my animation will turn out great.

Tewa Toi

Today we went to assembly in the morning. At assembly Team 1 started it. They had there own piece of paper. They had to only use white paint and they made individual arts. When they put it together and it made a lion it was so fun to watch it but when it was individual it looked so different. 

Team 2 had a video and in the video they were talking about themselves. but one of the teachers said it didn’t include any painting so they had to paint whatever they wanted but they had to draw it before the video ended and that’s what they did. personally i thought Mrs Gaston won but Mrs carter's painting was good too.

Team 3 had weird suits on. Miss Eadie and Miss King painted on Mr Moran, Mrs Scanler and Miss Moran. Then after they got painted they would lye on the paper and they tried to make a unique painting. Miss Eadie painted on Mr Moran's face with blue paint and it was so fun to watch. They said they would sell it to see how much money they could get from it.

Team 4 had to paint someone. They chose Mr Moran and they called him up to do some poses. When he did his poses they had to attempt to paint him but when they painted him he had blue paint on his face from when he was in Team 3's turn. I loved to see what they could draw. It was so cool but most of them weren’t even close to what he was posing. Mr Goodwin painted a Simpsons character it was so cool to see what he could do.

Team 5 were pretending to be a class. Mr Wiseman was the fake teacher he was so funny it was so cool. They all had a paint brush and they had to draw what they wanted to draw. Then after they painted it they told us why they painted it and then Mr Wiseman told us his opinion and it was very different to what they said. I love the assembly and it was so fun to watch but it was very long and fun. I wished there were more things to see and videos to watch. I can’t wait for next year because we have one every year/term.
