My morning
Today when I got up i got out of my bed. I had to tidy my room then I got changed. After I got changed I had breakfast. For breakfast I had toast which was so yum before I had toast my mum made my lunch. Then I got my bag and go on the car and came to school and played with my friends.

Matariki
Matariki is about celebrating the Maori new year. What people do are set off fireworks they also do hangies and also do face paint also celebrate the seven stars. When people pass away on matariki there sole makes that star and that there are seven stars that shines so bright. It starts in the middle of June. Matariki is my favourite time of year. Matariki is fun but not everyone celebrates Matariki the same way. A lot of people don't even celebrate Matariki.
